What our clients say about Nuco Training …

Here are some of the most recent reviews from individuals who have attended training with us:

I just wanted to email you to thank you and all of the staff at NUCO. You have all been so supportive and motivational throughout the whole process, from me initially enquiring about training with NUCO, right through to me now booking courses and delivering First Aid courses as an independent training provider.

I have had the courage to leave a job I have been in for 15 years and with great optimism and excitement, I am embarking on making First Aid Training a full-time job.”
Julie ODonnell : Lincolnshire

Nuco once again you astound me with your amazing customer service. I rang last week for advice on how to register a course that I am not running-who holds paperwork etc. The lady on the phone was so helpful and answered all my questions. I then did today what she said and it was easy. I ordered my course books etc. Within the hour I had a text to say its coming tomorrow. This is why I love being a nuco trainer!! Thank you for being great.”
Jenni Hudson : Southampton

Despite my initial reservations and nerves, I was warmly greeted by Paul on my arrival at the Holiday Inn, this informal chat set the tone for the duration of the course. I was fortunate enough (as where the group) to receive first class tuition and guidance in every aspect of the course, no stone was left unturned as Paul introduced us to varying instructional methods whilst coaching us with our own micro sessions and work. The learning curve was steep but the pace of delivery was perfect and Paul ensured everyone understood each section before moving on. I have been on many courses in my lifetime (as a soldier and civilian) and witnessed first-hand the negative effect some instructors can have on their group, this was the polar opposite and I commend you and NUCO for employing an Instructor of this calibre. I have already requested with my Line Manager that I undertake further training with NUCO and I look forward to my next course with you.”
Kevin J. Lynch : Glasgow

I have today finished a four day First Aid Instructors course at your Telford Academy, and feel obliged to write concerning both the course and Mr Darren Coombs, the Instructor. Although I have not myself previously had a formal teaching qualification, I have been involved in training for two decades or more, both by regularly lecturing at events such as the NEC primary Care exhibition to professional audiences of a few hundred, as well as mentoring numerous groups and individuals as they develop their skills in podiatric medicine. Additionally, I have served as Dean of the faculty of education of the national podiatry body the IOCP, and also as a member of various Department of Health boards concerned with education – latterly that of the Allied Health Prescribing project, which under the direction of the Minister of Health developed and set in place the national syllabus for Universities offering postgraduate training in Independent prescribing for AHP’s. I have therefore had, and frequently still do have, the great privilege of working with some of the most dedicated and talented professional teachers in the UK. Drawing on that knowledge I have to commend in the highest possible terms your training manager, Darren Coombs. He is obviously deeply committed to his work and although of necessity he set a challenging pace to the course, he was supportive, patient and motivating throughout. He displays that rare ability to weld a learning group from differing sources into an effective learning set, and I know that the others on my cohort would undoubtedly echo my words in confirming their appreciation of his hard work. I shall recommend your course without hesitation and offer my thanks for the last four days, it was a pleasure – a necessarily hard and challenging pleasure with such a packed syllabus, but superb nonetheless.”

… a very enjoyable course last week, hard work but a lot was learned.”
Mandy Buckley : Virgin Trains

I did my course with Nuco in 2011, it was one of the best courses I have done in my career. I further undertook the Defibrillator Instructor Course with them. The lead trainer was an excellent instructor and made you feel very relaxed and at ease from the moment you step through the door. I have recommended them to many of my friends. Will be back to requal next year.”
Carl Forman : University of Greenwich

I couldn’t have expected more from such a comprehensive and well run FAW Instructor Course in Warrington last week.”

Dave Thursfield  : Keighley College

I would just like to mention how great NUCO have been in all aspects; the training I received, the support available and the really easy to use website. It seems to be rare these days that a company delivers to such a high standard so thank you!”
Amanda Sluman  : St. Edmunds Girls’ School, Salisbury

The course was great, surpassed all my expectations and more. The Instructor was a credit to Nuco.”
Steve Smith : AMEC

I would like to express my sincere thanks to Nuco & our lead trainer Michelle Emerson who delivered an excellent course that was both informal and informative. She pitched the training in accordance with the level of experience of the Instructors that made it an enjoyable two days and without the repetitiveness that sometimes can be done on update courses. In the years that I have attended Nuco Training courses, all of them have been informative, this though has been far the best and a credit to Michelle and Nuco for providing an excellent trainer and content.”
Paul Nethercott  : P T Nethercott, Compliance & Essential Training Services

I did my first Instructor course with Nuco in 1999 and wouldn’t consider re-qualifying with anyone else!”
Heather Tarrant : Southampton

I was made to feel at ease from the minute I walked through the door. Fantastic and understanding trainers. Think the whole of the Nuco team are very helpful and am glad to now be qualified and working under the Nuco training name.”
